Q: [Brand] already runs their our own email retargeting flows, so we don't want customers to receive multiple emails a day on top of our own.
A: While [brand] does have their own email retargeting flows in place, 98% of site traffic is anonymous. While industry standard brand ID rates sit at 2%, Checkmate's technology allows us to identify 16% of anonymous site traffic. As such, our scope of reach is significantly larger to help convert those high-intent bounced shoppers. Additionally, Checkmate emails never get sorted into the "Promotions" Gmail tab, reaching additional primary inboxes over traditional branded email flows.
Q: [Brand] could be interested in launching, but would like to see a projection. Are you able to help me with this?
A: While it's tough to provide precise projections for our Targeting solution upfront (too many variables at play), we typically aim to drive 3–5% of GMV during off-season and 5–7% in peak periods. However, once they’re live, we can give a much more accurate year-long projection after the first two weeks of data
Q: [Brand] is already using Upsellit, would Checkmate Targeting be compatible?
A: We can absolutely be complementary to Upsellit. Upsellit focuses more on on site retargeting as well as automating branded email flows. Lots of pop ups / overs, mouse tracking to try to tell when a user is going to click away, etc. whereas Checkmate Targeting focuses on unlocking lost sales with lapsed shoppers by delivering AI-powered, personalized offers from Checkmate surfaces. As we have a relationship with our shoppers as their source for the best deals, we're able to maximize conversion and reach shoppers you could not.Additionally, as we'll be standing down to any retargeting / abandonment flows the brand already has set up, everything we're doing will be incremental + additive to the brand's existing efforts.
